Established in the 1870’s Arnold Stansby & Co is a long standing member of the London Stock Exchange, our experienced staff can help guide you through all stages of a transaction.

Which investments can be traded?

We are able to deal in UK or overseas shares, government or corporate bonds, investment trusts and unit. Orders are placed directly with a qualified Stockbroker over the phone or through other mediums such as email or letter. Either way, our professionally trained staff will deal with your requests.

Our Nominee Service greatly improves the efficiencies for everyone concerned be it for clients placing regular transactions or those who only trade infrequently. However we are one of the few remaining brokers who will transact both sales and purchases in certificated form at no extra cost.

Account Types:

Execution only – You tell us what you want to do and we execute the order

Advisory – This account allows us to make suggestions based on your risk profile and investment criteria. You still maintain control of the decisions and transactions made on the account but benefit from our advice.

Discretionary – A fully discretionary account allows Arnold Stansby & Co to run the portfolio on your behalf within a pre agreed criteria.
In addition to placing dealing instructions in a general investment account, you can also place dealing instructions in an ISA administered by us as we are HM Revenue & Customs approved ISA Managers. We can also accept instructions on your SIPP, SSAS and Trust (on/offshore) once they are set up with us.

Keeping you up to date with the progress of your account:

Our online valuation service allows you to monitor the progress of your portfolio, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

Half yearly we will provide you with a valuation of your account (April & October). This will include a statement of the cash account and a schedule of the transactions you have undertaken on the account in the previous 6 months.

Income payments can be set up at a frequency that meets your needs; we are very flexible when it comes to making your life run more smoothly.
